Saw a couple of AP's - can't get them off my mind
Guys,I have far too many watches but I am always on the prowl for more. Came across a few lately which have caught my eye but these two I can't stop thinking about. A super fun watch for a few months in the summer 15710ST.OO.A010CA.01. Why is this stuck on my brain? What do you guys think?I have only three bracelets in my collection, all the rest are on straps. This has so much presence and pop. Is it too much? I don't think so, it sure feels good on and it really does make a statement, I think the blue is such a game changer. Again opinions? 26331OR.OO.1220OR.01Also I have owned two Safari, two black/red ROO and the new blue with black is intriguing too. Haven't seen it in person yet. Sorry for the lack of pics, I can no longer upload pics for some reason they are all too large.
AP Diver on Brown Hornback -PICS - as requested by PSV + TSW
As requested by Patrick (PSV) and Thomas (TSW)....I finally got round to doing this. Took the hornback of the Safari and stuck it on the Diver...I have to say I'm quite enjoying the look. The contrasting colours give the watch a very different look - and the quality of the hornback adds a nice touch. Very comfortable onMakes me want a black hornback even more...and a bracelet of courseWhat do you guys reckon?
Navitimer World SS Bracelet price
what is a fair price for a new SS bracelet for a Navitimer World in the US? Retail is $1620. Thank you in advance for any help.
Panerai Ferrari 006 solid gold
Ok i know the Panerai community never took the ferrari models too well and to be honest the stainless steel versions with coloured dials didnt float my boat either...And i know im asking this question on a Rolex forum.... asking for trouble/Ive been offered a FER00006 in trade for my Daytona and $3k usd his wayMy daytona is a early(ish) one (pre rehaut with no box or papers) and the Panerai is a complete set except an aftermarket strap as the original was sweat stained.Ive had quite a few panerais over the years but the ferrari ones have never been a look in... however this one is solid gold and actually looks beautiful (in my opinion)Now they only made 300 of this model and if i can get my head around the ferrari badging on it im considering it.... however am i going to do my money on it? is only going to be resellable for the gold content in years to come or do we think it will have some collectibility?
