Watches NEWS
It's Tuesday So It Must Be The EOT !
Hi all : The newest and most complicated watch I'ver owned is in house. Thanks to all for their kind comments & advise to get to this point. This watch at first glance can easily be overlooked but the more time you spend with it and the hefty manual, you understand the brillance behind it. To be perfectly honest, I bought it purely on asthetics, love the 42MM case and the wonderfully colored cream dial. I love the thinness of the case to house such an epic movement and love the fact it has a open case back to show the breathtakingly decorated rotor. Enough wax-poetic. Here are the pics. Omega 2017 Release Preview - 5th Ave Boutique
Hey guys. After seeing the invite from the 5th Ave Omega Boutique over on that other forum, I raced over there after work to check out the new pieces that they had for temporary display. I've already paid for the 60th Anniversary Speedy, so I figured I may as well try it on. While I was there I tried on the Speedmaster, the Railmaster, the white dial Racing Speedy, and the steel Apollo 17 Speedy.First and foremost I was all about the Speedy, and it did not disappoint. For my 6.5 wrist, the size is absolutely perfect. The design of the end links on the bracelet help it hug my wrist even better. And as you would expect with a hesalite crystal, the watch is as light and comfortable as my classic 3570.50. Next, the Railmaster. I agree with the assessment of Sensui, that the Railmaster is the real sleeper of the bunch. There is just something very awesome about this watch. It is so clean, such a classic design and perfectly proportioned. I am fighting the temptation to add this one to my co

I used to see them online all the time, one or two , here or there. Haven't seen one in over a monthAnyone see one kicking around for sale or trade?
I want to buy a Bond Seamaster. What do I need to know?
Is there a big difference between the Bond Seamaster and Seamaster. Is it the same watch, only one has the Bond name on it? This is my first higher end watch, and I want something nice that will hold its value. I was thinking about a Rolex, but it's a little more than I want to spend and the authorized dealer offered no discount.
Grail watch dilemma
I'm new to the watch collecting game and I recently picked up a couple a new explorer 1 back in December of last year and more recently a sub nd in February - both to mark significant milestones. I sneaky wear the Explorer at work under the sleeve and the sub is my weekend warrior. I love these watches to bits - I think they are close to perfect and am super happy with them. But I would like one more to complete my Rolex collection C a BLNR - even though I bought 2 watches from my local AD they more or less told me to forget about getting one until at least next year and then they 'would see' what they can do for me.Under normal circumstances I would not be in a hurry to get this watch - but understanding that my local AD is my best shot and is really just blowing me off like this (even after me buying 2 watches recently) makes me realise that it's going to be difficult to get my hands on one some time in the foreseeable future...If I wait for my AD, it might get discontinued in that t
