Best Option For 45mm PO trade to 42mm PO
I have a 45mm 2500 PO that I have recently decided is slightly too large for my wrist. I believe that the 42 would be a better fit. Does anyone have any advice about the best way to go about sourcing a 42mm? Should I look for a straight up trade with a trusted seller on TRF? Or sell mine first and look to purchase a 42mm with the proceeds? My AD does not deal in used watches so that is isn't an option, unfortunately. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
5726/1A - White Dial or Grey Dial?
Hi Everyone, it's my first Patek post in this forum.I was looking to get an everyday use Patek that doesn't stand out too much so thought a steel Nautilus would be best. And sort of settled on a 5726/1A with the steel bracelet because I thought the Annual Calendar function would be useful. I am in two minds about the grey or white dial.. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help...Cheers
AD vs Grey
Branching out from another hot topic of paying over MSRP for a Daytona C.Out of town today and I stopped by an AD to check out their inventory. Same old news, not a single SS Sport model other than an Air King. A sales approached me and asked me what am I looking for. I gave him a list of models and his manager (I think) joined the conversation. AD: Well, you need to have a relationship with us in order to get on the list for these Professional models and the Daytona's waiting list is minimum 8 years. ME: Oh, so you don't have anything in stock now?AD: I don't know. Maybe. Maybe not. (Some vague Bs that I forgot what he said).... if you want to start a relationship with us now, I can get you a professional model much faster. (Pointing at the DJs & PMs)ME: how fast? Do you have something at the back?AD: I don't know. Maybe. Maybe Not. Depends how strong our relationship is. (Hinting on some PMs)ME: Where will that WG GMT BLRO take our relationship to?AD: That, my FRIEND, if you buy
Looking to purchase 1st rolex for lady DJ 28 or 31 jubilee band concealed clasp!
Hello All!I am new to this forum, but I am extremely glad I found it! I just spent 3 hours just reading up on all the different forums and I'm excited to embark on this new journey! So a bit about myself...I just graduated undergrad, 22y/o lady and officially launched my own business that I've been working diligently on since 2015 My dad bought me a Movado Museum Classic for starters a couple years ago, but I'm ready to play with the big ballers now With that said, I am looking to reward myself with a Rolex! I am still in debate whether I should just go to my AD for my first one, however, I know I can find a pre-owned one for a decent amount. What caught my eye was the 79174 DayJust with diamonds and concealed clasp Jubilee band (definitely firm on the concealed clasp). I was at work and encountered a woman with a beautiful blue dial w/diamonds but I am open to any and all suggestions. I originally only thought that I would look good with a 28mm, but now, I am slightly considering the 31
