Buying A Watch Online: Why Internet Shopping For Watches Is Safe and Stress Free
Buying a watch is about three things. How much you like the watch by itself, how good the watch looks on your wrist, and the price. Without friendly accord among these three factors, you are never going to feel fully comfortable in buying a watch. Buying a watch on the internet can appeal to at least two of these considerations. You'll know what a watch looks like, and you'll know you are usually getting a good price, but how can you ever tell that the watch looks good on your wrist? This is a real concern, but watch stores online usually have you covered.Like myself, you may have a "new watch ritual." The tender unboxing of the watch, fitting the watch to your wrist (especially if the bracelet requires removing links), and thenposing time. Yes, that time in each watch lover's life where we strike watch wearing poses in front of the mirror. Probably akin to what women do while spending far too long in dressing rooms at department stores, we stand in our bedrooms or bathrooms gauging (o
New deployant buckle?
Given that there is a new clasp for the bracelet. Will there be a similar one for leather straps?Or is there already one?
Speedmaster professional question
Hi all, I've just noticed that if I don't smoothly and quickly depress the first plunger, the stop watch hand jumps out to the five second mark and then runs normally. Has anyone else noticed that? Do I have an issue on my hands. I really hope not because this watch was away at the spa for many months getting serviced when there was some moisture under the crystal. Appreciate any advice / opinion. Thanks.
Changing out the blue dial
If I buy a Seamaster Professional 300m, with the blue wavy dial and matching blue bezel, what would it cost approximately to have the dial and bezel changed to black? Is this possible? (and do I get to keep the old parts)I like the watch a lot, but feel the blue is a bit bright.
ETA PR not consistent
My PAM Base ETA 6497 has been losing time on the Power Reserve. Let me explain myself. When I first purchased it I would get around 66 hours on a full wind. By full wind, I mean turning the crown until a point where it no longer winds and without forcing any further.I've been doing this test once again for a few times and would get different results each time. 1st try: 66 hours2nd try: ~63.5 hours3rd try: ~61.7 hoursI cannot find an answer as to why I would be getting back different PR even with a full wind.I know that these are way over the stated 48 hours, but I am just curious as to know why these figures would not be consistent. Thanks
