In-Depth: Introducing The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar (Live Photos, Though
Jaeger-LeCoultre's 39mm Master Ultra Thin case (henceforth known at MUT) is one of my absolute favorites. It is the perfect size for me, the perfect size for a dress watch, and no matter the complication, it just works. Take, for example, two introductions in this line from the past two years - 2011's Master Ultra Thin Moon and 2012's Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon. Both of these watches are simply divine (and the latter is one of the few tourbillons I would actually wear in public without feeling like a true, well, you know what I mean). So, for 2013, Jaeger-LeCoultre has gone ahead and introduced a superb new watch in this same ultra-thin 39mm case, and it just so happens to be my favorite complication - a perpetual calendar. 2 OF 30 So what is this watch exactly? Well, it's not exactly brand new, in the sense that it uses JLC's ultra-thin modular perpetual calendar, in this case called the caliber 868. This is a self-winding perpetual with 336 pa
Disappointed in the recent new color designs on the ROO
I mean seriously with all the weird colors...it went from high-end luxury to kiddos fake replica feeling...Though, I am glad that they heard us and started giving the 42mm with ceramic bezels...I am serious douching my APs and just go back to Rolexes (I sold all my Rolexes just before they all went up in prices)
custom watch winder for my ap
hi all wanna share my wip4 watch winder ( Japanese motor )add led's and maybe add digital lock with fingerprint scan???the box going to be huge.... any suggestion??
Would you sell these (5) for that (1)?
So I've been bitted by the AP bug pretty bad lately and have started to crave for one of the new 42mm ROOs, either the Safari or the Navy I think. In the last year, I added a stainless steel AP Diver and stainless steel 44mm Ceramic... these two watches are definitely part of my top 3 watches and now I feel like I need (want) a third AP. But that will cost me a pretty penny... in order to afford the third AP, I would need to sell part of my collection. So if you were me...Would you sell the 5 watches on the right hand side of the pic below (PAM305, PAM183, Zenith Defy T-Open, B&R 01-96, and B&R 01-97 (plus probably a bit of cash) to get 1 of the new AP 42mm ROOs (either Safari or Navy pictured below)?
How flexible are Nautilus bracelets?
I'm looking a couple of Nautilus models and wondering how flexible the bracelets are?Do they wear and sit on the wrist similar to the AP RO bracelet where due to the tighter integrated design of the links there is only so much flex and movement of the links at the ends near the lugs, i.e. it will only form a curve to a certain size/degree? This would be as opposed to say an Oyster bracelet which has full range of movement between each link if you see what I mean. Are there any smaller wristed folks out there who can comment on how the Nautilus bracelet fits them? Thanks :)
