Should I be concerned?
So was giving my 15400 a quick rinse/cleaning and just as I had put it under the faucet, I realized that the crown was out. I literally had it under the running water for less than 2 seconds before I noted it and immediately dried it off and screwed it back in before continuing. And it wasn't like the water was running right on the crown/stem. Question is should I even be concerned about any water potentially getting in there? I'm thinking no but would love to get some reassuring comments from you all. Thanks!
15202: 40th Anniversary Edition or older model?
I would like to ask this question to fellows forum members because I have had the opportunity of trying both models (latest and the older model with the AP logo at 12), and found the new butterfly clasp less comfortable then the previous version. I personally find it bulky for this type of watch and prefer the thinner profile of the deployante buckle. This is only one aspect and was wondering what your opinions are about these 2 beautiful watches.Thank you all for your time and consideration. All the best,gb
Planet Ocean Mesh
Does anyone know if Omega is offering the new PO on their mesh bracelet? Their website shows it on the old model, but I didn't see it on the new model.
After (only) 8 months, tomorrow is the day...
Just got the call that my ceramic Daytona has arrived. My experience may be a bit of right place/right time, but I only had to wait 8 months. Put money down to show I was serious and stayed in contact with the dealer (with whom I hadn't had any purchase history...).If I can offer any advice, it's to go in person to ADs in smaller markets and create a relationship. I'll post pics tomorrow once it's on my wrist. It's going to be a long night of waiting...
