Rubber Clad Back From Clearwater Today With Black Datewheel
Just got my G rubber clad back from a full spa treatment and had them replace the datewheel with the black wheel. Amazed at AP Clearwaters level of service and they beat there estimate by a month!
Is Breitling About To Go Bust
Anyone else heard this, I was in Omega Boutique today and they was really pushing to sell me something. When I made it clear I was not interested as they don't discount, and showed them my Breitling I got 20% off they told me Breitling was in trouble and had too much stock and were on verge of going bust. A case of salesperson pi**ed off not getting or going to get a sale, or is this rumour true and Breitling are in serious trouble.
George Clooney in The American
Not a very good film but certainly a lot of shots of George wearing a Speedy on black leather.Such a cool watch! It was a toss up between that and a Sub for me and I picked the Sub. Reckon a Speedmaster will be my next watch though!!
Patek 5712 and power reserve
Have a question in regards to power reserve on 5712. I know official site says that power reserve is 48 hours but was curious how much longer beyond 48 hours and if the watch would start running slower I took my watch off on Friday around 3 pm and put it on on Sunday around 7. So watch was off my wrist about 52 hours, and when I put it on I saw power reserve indicator was on the red but not fully out. I did not pay attention to see if the watch was running or not, but I immidiately wound it a little since the indicator was on low and bottom of the red markings. Later I noticed that it was an hour off. Being off exactly an hour (plus/minus few minutes) I didn't notice that the hour hand was off originally when I put the watch on.So wanted to know if it's possible for the watch to start running slower or stop while power reserve indicator is not all the way on empty? As I mentioned above, watch was off the wrist for about 52 hours. Thanks and have a great week everyone!
