Marvin Launches Sebastien Loeb Collection
Marvin Watch Co. has partnered with seven time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb to launch a limited edition collection of chronographs designed by Loeb. Available with automatic or quartz movements and black or white dials, the Sebastien Loeb collection incorporates automotive-inspired design details to combine the performance of world rallying with precision Swiss watchmaking. The 44mm stainless steel case features articulating lugs mounted on spring suspensions, allowing the watch to adjust to the contours of the wrist for maximum comfort. Loeb designed the dial to reflect the dashboard of his rally car. The black PVD chronograph push buttons resemble foot pedals, and the hands evoke a rally car's reinforcing bars.Paying homage to his seven world championship titles, Marvin's Sebastien Loeb pieces are available in a limited edition collection of 777 pieces. The automatic-winding chronograph features a Valjoux 7750 movement which is visible through Marvin's signature skeleton caseb
Regular hour vision or annual calendar
I'm going back and forth between these two models in ss, silver face on strap. The annual seems much thicker. Does anyone know how thick both of these are? Also, does only the annual have the silicon wheel or do both? Any general thoughts on each? Thanks
PP 5164 Service Intervals
Hey guys,I am considering buying a PP 5164 Travel Time and the watch in question is approximately 18 months old. I am wondering what the service intervals are on a watch like this. For my Rolex watches I push the service intervals out to around 7-8 years (some as far as 10) and I have never had any issues. Because the PP is a completely different animal, I am wondering if I am going to need to send this particular watch away 2-3 years after I buy it because it is mint preowned.Another question I have is about PP service in general. I have owned a couple APs and they have excellent customer service and fairly quick service turnaround times. It seems that the consensus on PP is that service is glacially slow and fairly expensive. Is warranty work quicker? Do most owners just accept this fact as part of the ownership experience? The last thing I want to do is buy this Patek, get two years wear out of it and then have to send it away for an 8 month service.Any insight is greatly appreciated!
Love my new 270!
Just completed a trade with Oscar aka BodyBump! Couldn't be any happier!!
