SevenFriday New Watches, The M1 & M2
After a few years of revisions and model interpretations of its original watch, Swiss SevenFriday is about to release its second model collection with the M1 and M2 watches which are due for release next month in June of 2014.The M1 and M2 are, of course, similar to the original "P" series SevenFriday watches in regard to the same 47mm wide cushion-shaped case along with overall look and feel. The M1 and M2 watches also once again use Japanese Miyota mechanical movements, but different movements here which are modified to use discs rather than hands to indicate the time.According to SevenFriday the M1 watch dial design is inspired by turbines, while the M2 is inspired by "old power measuring tools such as ammeters or old radios." For the price, the dial detail and quality of SevenFriday watches has always been impressive. The M1 and M2 dials are made of six layers and have 10 applied parts. There are three custom-made discs which are used to indicate the seconds, minutes, and hours. It
Incoming! Omega Speedmaster Professional 3572.50
Upgraded my my Omega Speedmaster Reduced to this 3572.50 thanks to George! Absolutely love the hesalite crystal! The reduced I had was Sapphire. My watch collection now consists of this guy and a DJ 16013 with a white face. I feel comfortable with this setup for the foreseeable future. Cheers!Ryan
Any experience here with the Olympic collection Timeless?
Hi all, last week I walked into an old AD and saw some past Olympic collection on sale. They look gorgeous.I read about many who minded the olympic ring counterbalance at the end of the second hand. Looks ok to me though. I prefer the leather strap piece more as I already have a white daytona and looks to something dressier. And it looks more museum to me too Wanted to gather some views on these two timepieces here. What is your experience with them? Why are the two calibers adopted different (same dial layout to me)? Thanks all!Caliber 3202Ref: 22.13.41.50.04.001.omegawatches/gents/sp...42213415004001Caliber 3313Ref: 321.10.42.50.04.001.omegawatches/gents/sp...32110425004001
Looking for particular NOS Seamaster
I'm trying to locate a particular Seamaster Chronometer in an AD's case that's NOS and have a few questions. The specifics are:41mm caseStainlessOlder style bracelet (still used on Speedmaster)Non-colored stainless bezelBlue or black dial (and I don't care which style hour markers it has)Automatic (chronometer)Here are my questions:Does anyone know what the particular reference # is?Does anyone know the last year this particular version was produced?Did this version ever come as a coaxial? What was the MSRP during its final year of production? If both the coaxial and original versions were available, what were their respective prices? Thanks!
116610LV Availability?
As the title states, I'm looking to get my second Rolex; a 116610LV Hulk. I've been eyeing this watch since the first green bezel came on the market when it was the 50th Anniversary edition. Waited long enough and decided to get this for myself this February for a milestone birthday. Figure this will last longer than a 24 month lease on a 911 Carrera and I'll enjoy it more in the long run.Question I have after reading through some of the most recent posts about the 116610LV is availability. Seems like it may be tough to find one these days. Can anyone confirm? I haven't stopped in to any AD's yet, but planning to initiate some dialogue over email first. Is a discount of any kind even remotely possible for this watch now due to the high demand? I don't have a relationship with any dealers unfortunately, but still curious to see it there's any room on the price and if so what's the best approach? Any feedback or advice is greatly appreciated. Sent from my BLN-L24 using Tapatalk
