Help needed to decide between two tone sub and Daytona
Hi, I could use some input on a conundrum that I'm faced with. We have decided to get my Dad a retirement gift. I have never been into two tone watches so thought I'd get some opinions from those that are. My regular AD has two options for me. The two tone sub with black dial and bezel and the two tone Daytona with champagne dial and diamond hour markers. Advice re repair info please
I would appreciate a little advice please. Be much appreciated. We're in the UK, in Edinburgh Scotland.I bought a 116201 oyster bimetal rose gold white roman dial (used) from a reputable Rolex offical outlet a couple of years ago. I gave it to my father as a present. He dropped it and it stopped working so he took it into said retailer.We assumed (and I believe he was told) it was sent to Rolex. Had an email today (from the retailer) with no info from Rolex but advising new glass and crown as well as a service. We were not aware either of those were damaged. The email says The Rolex watch you left with us has been professionally examined by head watch technicians then goes on to say Rolex have advised the replacement parts.I have asked them to forward info from Rolex which has so far been met with silence. I feel as though they are pushing the additions which might be unnecessary. Should we be given info from Rolex and/or can we contact Rolex to discuss the work? You can imagine for ex
