Linde Werdelin Oktopus 1,111m Titanium Watch With Black Lacquer Bezel
Linde Werdelin presents a new version of the ruggedly attractive Oktopus 1111m dive watch. I wrote about the original Linde Werdelin Oktopus watch here. The new version has a naked grade 5 titanium 46mm wide case with a new rotating diver's bezel that is inlaid with black lacquer. The minute markers are exposed making them very legible, while the black lacquer regions will have a deep glossy tone to them. The watch is matched to a soft black rubber strap with a very good locking fold over clasp.The Oktopus's dial is also black, but done differently being black galvanic with silver print. The hour indicators are rhodium plated and the lume all over the watch is in the now popular "diver's blue" as I call it. This is done with blue colored C3 SuperLumiNova. I just rejoined AP ownership after a long absence. It took me a while to decide which one to choose. I looked at the RO chronograph, the calendar watch, and the Jumbo. Went with the new Jumbo and its stunning. Sorry for the poor photographs but I was at the office and it still has some plastic on it.Best regards,Dino

Arrived yesterday after a movement service. Also had a Priek caseback installed so I can enjoy the view. Not a fan of the 1039 bracelet, so trying out a couple of kevlar straps with it.

Looking for good AD in the carribean
People are always teling me that watches are much cheaper in the Carribean, but where exactly are these great Omega AD exactly? Do they even exist? I may go on a vacation in the new year and grab a watch at the same time. Any help would be appreciated. PM's welcome. thanks.

5712 Incoming!
As some of you may know I have had a few 5712s. My first Patek was the 5712g, a very understated and imo underappreciated watch. Last August I bought a 5712a which I planned to wear for my wedding and didn't. Regardless, I loved it. Ended up trading it for a larger acquisition. Everything happens for a reason, Today, I am happy to announce that I have completed my 5712 desire with a new and sealed 5712a Tiffany. It seems that throughout my years of collecting, it's the pieces I have ended up with three times are the ones that are meant to be. That being said, cheers to the 5712 that will remain.JPS
