Hi Folks,As a relative newbie to all things AP, I come seeking advice Over the past few months I have become increasingly enamoured with two particular watches, the AP Panda and Sub LV (16610LV) and cannot quite seem to make up my mind about which to go for!The way I see it, I have two options:a) Sell my GMT 16750 and Tudor Black Bay and throw in an additional ��5k for the APb) Buy the LV, and keep those two.What would you do in my situation? Sell two and add cash for the AP? Or Keep two and add the LV? PO hands not cut cleanly?
I just noticed something regarding the hands of my PO today. I was looking at the hands closely under strong light and can see the edges of the hands looks like its not cut cleanly...you know how a beat up knife edge would look like. Is this normal?!
Replace my 112 with 510 or 392
I lost my 112 and fancy replacing with something similar but different. I have a 6.75 wrist and got on fine with the 112. I'm tempted by the 392 but hear they are unduly thick and don't wear quite so flat. I'm in New Zealand and can't try as we have only one AD with limited stock so will import via Jomashop.Thoughts?
Gold hands
I never quite understood the appeal of gold hands in a steel cased Panerai until yesterday. WOW! In the right light, they REALLY GLOW / STAND OUT against the dial. It even seems to enhance legibility (although that's not much of an issue on a big faced Panerai watch). Mesmerizing. Anyone have pics of what I'm talking about?
