Nesbit's Service
I had Nesbit's service my Omega Seamaster 120m Chronometer and they did a fine job. Watch came back looking and running great. I was wondering if someone could explain the results and statistics test they included. This is the first time seeing results and was hoping someone could explain it to me. I attached a photo of the result.
Let this be a warning ......
I think you have to read this post on another forumI started the post on the purists and can't copy the entire post hereBut really worth seeing and reading itpatek.watchprosite/show-f...-about-a-5070/A friend was ready to buy this watch and asked my advice firstIn the beginning I had doubts but the closer I looked , the worse it gotBelieve me, this is scary stuffUnfortunately very well doneSo please be very very very careful when buying watchesI never thought a 5070 could look so close to the originalThis is not a 100usd copyI'm sure many would be scammedI informed the dealer who is selling this watch because I believe he was scammed too ... I hope he can trace the person who sold him this piece
Opinions on my Christmas present.
So this week I will be going to pick out a new watch to add to my collection. I currently have a Pepsi gmt master and am looking for something that I can dress up but that can also be worn everyday. My initial thought was a date just 41 in blue or white with domed bezel (undecided on bracelet) or a white Buckley dial. I also have a soft spot for a reverso but I think this might be too dressy for what I'm looking for. I have sold off everything and am committed to having a two watch rotation until my kids stop costing me a fortune. I know the decisions lies with me yadda yadda...But I love hearing the opinions of this great community. Makes me think about things I didn't consider. Merry Christmas to those who celebrate.
