15450ST for a guy
What do you guys think about the 15450ST?Tried one the other day and I thought it was fantastic. I have slightly less than 6 inch wrists and am thinking the 41mm would be too large. Curious for honest opinions if this would be the best one for my 'size' and how it looks on me. Also I am really curious about the water resistance. Their website says it has a screw lock crown, what does that mean? How many seals are there and really what does that mean for my lifestyle? I wear Rolex and Omega in the shower, hot tub and ocean because I hate taking my watches off and enjoy being able to do those things. Would this watch stand up to the task, or is it a watch you need to baby? Thanks guys! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The hard life of brand ambassadors.
Noticed this, thought this was funny.Lebron is an AP ambassador, Dwayne Wade sponsored by Hublot.During their press conferences, it was hilarious to watch how pronounced they were with this pose, doing their best to show off their timepieces. The whole time, Lebron was either touching his lips or trying to get ear wax out of his ears with his left hand. For about 30 seconds while Lebron was answering a question, you could see Wade just stare at Lebron's AP.Have any of you guys found yourself either doing this or staring at your watch in public while ignoring everything around you?
SMP purchase
With The Rolex Forum down for a couple days; I had it in my head that I was missing a Seamaster. The white dial is flashy! Should be delivered Fri or Sat.
Submariner should cost...
Found this ad from presumably 1975 for the Submariner priced at $470. With a quick computation on the inflation calculator, the cost today would be $2250. Interestingly, the exchange rate of the Swiss Franc went from 3+:1 in the 70's to about 1:1 today. Perhaps this is the reason other Swiss watch brands followed the same trend?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
