CT Scuderia Automatic Mechanical Watches For 2013
Enrico Margaritelli's brand CT Scuderia is going mechanical for 2013. A while ago I offered a review of their Corsa Chronograph. The interesting design has a stopwatch-style case that some people loved and that some people were not drawn to at all. At over $1,000, some people felt that they would be more interested in the brand if they contained mechanical movements. CT Scuderia was a bit of ahead of everyone as they were working on mechanical versions of their watches from almost the start. Meeting with Enrico late in 2012, we talked about the future of the brand, as well as what the inclusion of the mechanical watches mean to to the brand. You can also check out our video interview with Margaritelli from that time below. A rather prolific designer, the CT Scuderia brand is among the few very "super Italian" watches he's designed. Do 15300/15400 bracelets "stretch"? (please post pics)
I'm in the market now for a pre-owned Royal Oak. I know the bracelets are constructed different compared to a Rolex Oyster bracelet - maybe more like the Jubilee bracelets? In your experience, do all 15300/15400 bracelets come new from the factory with some give? Does it develop over time and become an issue like it is for the Day-Dates and Datejusts of the world? Or, are the bracelets a little loose but stay consistent for years and years? It would be great if a few current owners could post a pic of the side of the watch (while holding the case) to show how the bracelet hangs. Similar to this...Thanks, guys!
Moon to Mars Watch
Omega used to make a speedmaster with representations of the earth, moon and mars on the chrono dials. It does not appear to be on the website. It is a striking watch, but I never hear it mentioned on this forum or elsewhere. Anyone have any opinions or thoughts on this model?
What do you think about quart Patek Philippe ?
What do you think about watch Patek ?Such as 3944, 3954 and 3744 ?And does it worth the price of 6000 usd ?
Incoming... on the Panerai forum!
Not one of the usual on the Panerai forum, but I picked up a Pam111. My first. Arrived last night and looking great. Apologies for the terrible picture (my phone suffered and accident and it broke the camera cover....). Impressed with beauty of movement as seen through the huge display on the back!IMG-20140402-00088.jpg
