What is your take on Day & Date?
Does anybody have one? If so, what the verdict so far? I like it for its 39mm size and balanced dial. How does this compare to the new 15400 in terms of fit and wear?
Opinion for my first AP
Hi Guys,This is my first thread in this forum and very lack information regarding AP.Now, I am looking for a new toy and love to see the AP ROO, but I can't decide between the the AP ROO RC or AP ROO Panda. Which one is more attractive for you?Currently my watch is with bigger diameter:- Bell and Ross BR01-92 Heritage 46mm- Panerai 312 & 275 44mm - Rose Gold N5 Franck Muller GPG Conquistador 60mm- Hublot King Power UNICO 48mm I worry that AP 42 mm is too small for me, but I really love to see the AP, that makes me confused.Your opinion will be really appreciate.Cheers,Michael :)
Speedmaster Pro panda dials
After 30+ years of serial watch buying, I somehow skipped over the Speedy Pro until just a couple months ago and I am mildly addicted already. I picked up a NIB Pro and was then reading as much as I could about them. That led me to the Mitsukoshi dial mod and I sourced the dial and handset which are getting scarcer every day. I got my watch swapped over last week and although I love the standard black dial the new white panda dial with silver handset is stunning. I know there have been several white and white panda dial variations but the only reverse panda I'm aware of is the recent Speedy Tuesday. Have there been any others in the past?
Undecided.... Grail Hunt
Hi guys. Ok, as alway I need your advice in what would be a better decision. I like movements and PP drive me nuts in a good way in that area. Currently my focus has been set solely on the 5712 in either ss or Rose Gold. Lately , I came across the Patek 5205 (either grey of black) which has a similar dial to the PP 5626. So, what do you guys think? What is the model to go for? Is the 5712 out shined by the 5205? Or, is the 5726 the way to go between those 4? Movement wise, are the 5205 and the 5726 the same? I know the 5712 movement is a beauty with the micro rotor but the 5626 is also great. All that said, thoughts? Knowledge? Words of wisdom? Here are some pics of the models from the Internet. Adding a 214270
Decision time! I am thinking about adding a 214270 and leaning more to the MK2 side than MK1... So I've been to 2 ADs hoping to try on a MK2 but no luck on that, in fact they barely have any SS sport models in stock. Anyone know of any dealers in the LA area that have a MK2 in stock? Any kind of discount can be had on the 214270? TIA!
