Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Gravity Watch
Besides their well known Pontos line,?Maurice Lacroix has a great number of interesting watches in their Masterpiece line.?We previously covered the Masterpiece Roue Carre Seconde watch a few years ago which has square and cloverleaf gears indicating the seconds. For 2014, The Masterpiece collection gets a model known as the Gravity which is a uniquely appealing piece from the brand.Maurice Lacroix has extended their haute horologerie "Masterpiece" line with the "Masterpiece? Gravity" which features a large balance wheel on the dial as part of an in-house made movement. According to Maurice Lacroix, this is the first watch equipped with an oscillator assortment (balance roller, lever and escapement wheel) entirely made of silicon, which has a lighter weight than metal and no need for lubrication. What's not to like with an escapement that promises greater accuracy, less maintenance, and more resistance to magnetic fields? SMP Changing out to Ceramic bezel?
Hi folks. I dont post much but do a lot of lurking... Love the forum.. anyway, I have a SMP 2220.80 with a flat blue aluminum (I guess) bezel. I really like the look of the ceramic bezels. Is it possible to change out these things? I know modding watches like this is not recommended... but I don't care, it's a keeper for me. Also I suppose if you can swap out the bezel, you can put it back to original.

Screwed or Not???
So I finally bought a Daytona and I found myself using my Omega Speedy Mark II Co-Axial more than the Daytona. One of the reason is because of the easy access of the timer start/stop rest buttons on the Speedy. Than it hit me that I don't need to keep the locks on the buttons on the Daytona screwed down unless I'm in water. So the question for Daytona wearers is whether or not you keep your pushers locked (screwed tight) or loosened (unscrewed)?
