HYT H2 Aviator Watch
Some people just don't get HYT watches. They struggle with reading the time from the "fluidic" hour indicator. For some, the new HYT H2 Aviator will make little sense, because aviation watches are traditionally the most legible and uncluttered of all. But this is not a pilot's watch: this is a modern timepiece that draws inspiration from a design code that, thanks to its fundamental simplicity, is open to interpretation. The HYT H2 Aviator is a dressed-up version of the HYT H2, in the same way that the HYT H1 Air, released earlier this year (check out the review here), is a version of the H1. We've seen the fluid-filled bellows, angled in a V-shape before; we expected the prominent balance and balance bridge to ornament the dial at 12; we could have staked our lives on the yellow/green liquid that encircles the dial making an appearance. What we maybe didn't see coming was the complete redesign of the minute hand, the addition of large, legible numbers to the face of the watch (on a flo
Buying A 44mm Offshore
Hello TRF-ers! I'm really considering to buy a new 44mm Offshore soon. My choice is either the 26400SO or 26400IO. I know there's been a couple of thread comparing these two watches, but I'm sincerely confused. My local AD has a new 26400SO which I was really surprised of, so I'm buying new. From what I see most of you prefer the 44mm Ti, but I haven't seen it in real life. And I'm afraid that the dark grey combo makes my 42mm Vampire a bit redundant because of the black/dark grey and red color scheme. On the other hand, I just saw the 26400SO and I think it looks awesome . Let me know what which one you think I should choose . And how much should I pay for the 26400SO if I want to buy it? And since I've seen the Elephant a few times, how does the grey color of 26400IO looks like compared to the Elephant? I uploaded the pic of 26400SO on my wrist and my two-watch collection
It's time to vote!
As many of you are aware, I have been contemplating over the following two AP's as my first. It's been days going back and forth, but before I start looking for a specific dial color or strap combination, I've taken the time to go to a boutique and take some pics so you guys can help me out. Please vote and let me know which one suits my 6.5 wrist more. I honestly think that the pictures do not do these watches justice and from a distance, I think I can actually sport either one of these. Let's see what you guys think! I've also added a neither for those of you who think that these two models are a no go and for me to go back to my Rolex collection. Thanks!

My new favorite..
Just thought I would share with fellow 'Patekoholics' my latest acquisition.. The 5905 in blue. It's surprisingly versatile as you can see in the photo, and I'm really warming up to the clean, modern dial. The 5960 will always hold a special place in my heart since it was my first Patek. However, the blue sunburst dial, along with the 42mm size makes this piece a keeper and difficult to take off the wrist! IMHO, Patek did a great job with this one. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
