Fine cigars have much in common with fine watches luxury products with romantic heritage, handmade by skilled craftsmen, appreciated by connoisseurs and now Hublot has created a timepiece that ties the two together together in a significant way the new King Power Arturo Fuente edition, developed in collaboration with one of the world’s most popular premium cigar brands. The Arturo Fuente cigar company, founded in 1912 by Cuban immigrant Arturo Fuente, Sr. in Tampa, is one of the top purveyors of hand-rolled cigars outside of Cuba, producing around 3o million cigars per year at its factory in the Dominican Republic. The most famous of these is the Fuente Fuente Opus X, the first Dominican puro (a cigar in which all the tobacco is of the same national origin) and one of the world’s most sought-after cigars. Opinions on this speedmaster
Hi everyone, I'm looking at this one to replace a previous speedy I traded. Just wanted to get some input on the model/condition and whether it's fairly priced. Also, should I have any concerns if I move forward with the deal and it's being shipped from Canada? forums.watchuseek/f29/fs-...a-3397410.htmlThanks,
Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 45th Anniversary (Images)
Did a write up on the Apollo 11 45th Anniversary here. Must admit my first thoughts were a bit meh but there is quite a bit of attention to detail - plus it is quite well priced. What were your thoughts?
Chrono or GMT?
Hi all. I'm looking for some help in picking out my next watch. I am looking for a sport watch for, primarily, weekend and vacation wear. The two watches I am looking at are the Omega 2225 Chrono and the Omega 2535 GMT. I might also consider other watches in this series, such as the quartz varient. These watches meet my qualifications for durability, waterproof, and look great on either a steel or a rubber strap. Here's my question, I tried on both of these watches and I was concerned about how thick the 2225 was. I actually prefer this watch over the GMT because I like the chrono look and function and I already have a Rolex GMT. Do any owners out there find the 2225 too thick or bulky for casual wear?As I said the watch I end up buying will mostly be worn during off hours like weekends. So, although thick, I am unlikely to be wearing long sleeves and trying to get the watch under my cuff.I'll try and post pics later showing the two models I referenced.
PO Chrono or Omega Broad Arrow
I have the opportunity to buy either a Planet Ocean Chrono or an Omega Broad Arrow at 40% off MSRP. This is because this AD is going out of business. Before tax, the PO would be $3540 and the Broad Arrow would be $4200. My questions to you are:1) Is 40% a deal to jump on considering it is from an AD2) Given the choice, which watch is the better buy? Thanks in advance for your help.[IMG][/IMG]
