This vintage Sub exhibits exactly what we love: a deep glossy dial and a fat case. The dial is marvelous, with a lacquer finish characteristic of the early 5513s. Any chance of finding an unworn 5550p ?
After quite a bit of discussion over the last week or so (for which I am VERY grateful to all those who shared their advice), plus hours and hours of research, I've decided to begin my quest of an unworn 5550p. Is there ANY chance of finding one? And since this was an experimental model from the research team, does anyone know of any problems with this watch besides price? Thank you again for indulging me. This discussion board has been nothing short of enlightening.

Today I got the call and was excited to pick this up right before Christmas. Sourcing this was much easier than expected and took just under one week from request to delivery. I had mentioned to my AD a few months ago that I would like one whenever they got one in, but I was buying a Christmas present for my wife this past Thursday in the store and said that I wanted it for sure. Since one hadn't come into the store, I asked if they could source it for me. I went home, and 3 hours later I got a call to say one would be delivered the following week. I was surprised when it arrived today to have my information already printed on the certificate of origin as I have never had one done that way before but it was a nice touch. The watch is just stunning. Its way heaver that I thought it would be (in a good way) and it's also thinner than expected (also in a good way). First impressions are that it's a keeper for sure and I think it's going to be my favorite watch. It is now for sure,

Thinking of buying a patek 5905p with blue face. If purchased for 62,000 dollars now what is your guys long term forcast on price? Will I lose a lot of money when traded later of will it appreciate?
