What's the difference?
What is the difference besides the size and manual vs automatic on the 3510.50 and the new or older moon watch speedy?
Gone to a rubber strap on my PO....
... and I may never go back! The PO 45.5mm fits my wrist perfectly and I like the weight of the watch on the bracelet. That's one of the things that sold me on these watch. But after several years on the S/S bracelet I got tired of the same old look so I purchased the black rubber strap with tang buckle.... L O V E I T !!!Now I think on need a blue rubber strap for my SMP!
Can you help identify this please
Hi all. My wife has has this for 25 years or so and it's been left it a draw most of this time. Recently she asked me to find out what it is ( no box or papers to help me ). Looks to me like a gold quartz DeVille from early eighties with a newer hirsh strap but I'm more in turn with Rolex and Panerai than older omegas.Anyone help me identify it and give a rough guide to any value. My expectation is that it's a fairly cheap and not very popular watch, but wouldn't we all love to have a grail watch hidden in the draw 😄
Is Panerai COMING back?
Lately seems like a lot of people are buying Panerai. Is the brand coming back or people buying because of the steep discounts that can be offered? For a while I was thinking to sell my 389 & 662 that I acquired last year which I've worn 5x.
Explorer II Time Setting?
What is the logic behind the 24-hour hand being adjoined to the minute hand rather than the hour hand? It's only been a few months with my Polar (216570) but I find it unintuitive to adjust the minutes or the 24 hour hand in parallel with the other hand. If I want to adjust the 24-hour hand I don't want my minute hand stopping. And if I don't wear my watch for a few days - sometimes I simply want to quickly set the hour hand and the minute hand but I have to remind myself that they are set independently. Is it just me or is there a good logical reason for this?
