HourTime Show Watch Podcast Episode 158
Was it worth it for Grieb & Benzinger to sacrifice an A. Lange & Sohne Tourbillon for the one-of-a-kind Blue Merit watch? We talk about new watches from Ulysse Nardin as well as the Harry Winston Histoire de Tourbillon 5 - which is pretty cool.Listen to the HourTime Show watch podcast episode 158 here.Direct download or play .mp3 here.
My New Speedmaster Date
Here are a few quick and dirty shots of my new Speedy Date that I picked up last weekend. I just couldn't pass up the phenomenal deal at the AD. Of course, it doesn't hurt to have a personal contact there.Anyway, I am really enjoying this one. Here she is!Cheers!-Steve-
Which one dial do you prefer for the 5960 1a ? Black or white?
Just wondering which dial our members prefer for the 5960 1a . Comments and suggestions appreciated.
Oman crest engraved on back
I am aware that some Rolex watches bearing the Oman crest on the dial are considered to be collector's items. When you Google search Rolex Oman crest or similar, you can find a lot of examples of those. However my question is in reference to a watch with no crest present on the dial, but with the crest engraved on the back. Does anybody know about these watches, are they rarer than those with the crest on the front? Or does the lack of crest on the dial suggest that the dial is not original (or the back is not original, same difference!)Any information would be greatly appreciated. The watch in question has a 6 million serial number.
Smurf vs Smurf
I bought a Tudor Pelagos to try out the whole blue on blue prior to purchase of the Rolex. So far, I am liking it!
