James Bond Watch Review - Omega Seamaster 300M
I have to admit that I am a James Bond fan. But it was until recently I came to know about the Omega Seamaster 300 association with James Bond. Omega Seamaster 300M has been on James Bond wrist for almost 2 decades now. It all started when the New James Bond (then) Pierce Brosnan needed a new 007 watch. Lindy Hemming had chosen the SM300 partly because of the Seamaster's history with the British Royal Navy. The Seamaster has been the style icon for the perfect spy.The Omega Seamaster 300 has been through adventures like Golden Eye 1995 (Seamaster Quartz Professional 300M), Tomorrow Never Dies 1997 (OMEGA Seamaster 300M), The World is not enough 1999 (OMEGA Seamaster 300M), Die Another Day 2002 (Seamaster 300), & Casino Royale 2006 (OMEGA Seamaster 300M & Seamaster Planet Ocean). Do I love the PO? Oh no...
I was really close to buying a 1-year used GMT-IIc, but thought I should look at Omega. And I saw the black dial PO, and I'm afraid to admit to myself that I really love it a LOT. I love the slightly extra size and heft, and it's just a beautiful watch. Someone talk some sense into me! ;-) Comments?
