Hands-On: With The Harry Winston Midnight Skeleton (Live Photos)
While you probably expected the first Basel World Harry Winston post to be about Opus 12, the follow-up to this bad boy, it's not.? You see, that one is going to take some time think about before we share our thoughts on it.? And, there was actually is another piece from Harry Winston that really caught our eye when we visited their booth just a few hours ago.?The Midnight collection from HW is the most classical and refined of all HW men's watches, and today we say what will be the most "technical" and "watchy" model of the line, and a piece that serious watch guys are going to love.? Introducing: The Grand Seiko Spring Drive 8 Day Power Reserve, A Rare Example Of Japanese Haute Horo
I think every hardcore watch nerd dreams of owning a piece hand-crafted by Seiko's Micro Artist Studio in Shiojiri, located in Japan's central Nagano region. The Micro Artist Studio is a tiny subset of the Seiko manufacture that is the absolute elite unit, responsible for hand-crafting not only the incredible Eichi II, but also the Credor Minute Repeater and Sonnerie. Today, for the first time, we saw a Grand Seiko that was given the Micro Artist treatment, and it did not disappoint. 1 OF 3 First, one must understand that the craftsman in the Micro Artist Studio are top, top tier. They are the group that visits no one short of Mr. Philippe Dufour with some regularity, and the group that Mr. Dufour to this day holds in extremely high regard. This is true high-end finishing of the highest order, an until now, this has been reserved for Credor product. I'd always wondered why we never saw an insanely high-end Grand Seiko, and now we have. 2 OF 3 Eve
New Strap For My Novelty
Hi GuysI have been searching, with no success for a different strap for my Novelty and finally came across a the GP variant that I thought might work as the dial has red accents to match the edges of the new strap.Let me know what you think but I can say that I love it! Its feels more comfortable than the rubber and kind of feels like a totally new watch now!
