Junghans 1972 Chronoscope & Mega Solar
Those on a relative budget wanting a nice sport watch should take a good look at the 1972 collection of timepieces from German brand Junghans. Often known for their atomic clock controlled watches, Junghans has an interesting assortment of both modern and vintage inspired quartz or mechanical watches. The 1972 collection takes direction and inspiration from sport-themed watches made in that era. Though, there is a slick modern edge to the designs which fits the brand's larger collection of timepieces. I do enjoy how they took a classic look and updated it a bit.Junghans is among the few brands that uses many movements derived from Seiko. Bring a Loupe: Great Vintage Watches From Universal Geneve, Heuer, Cartier, And Rolex
This week's Bring a Loupe will present you a handful of great vintage chronographs from Universal Geneve, Heuer, and Enicar. We will also cover a sporty Rolex Explorer that traveled magnificently through time, as well as a very elegant Cartier with a twist. This is your Bring a Loupe for September 4, 2015. An Early Rolex Explorer II In NOS Condition 1 OF 7 The Explorer II reference 1655 is a die-hard tool watch originally intended for cave explorers. This explains its most striking feature: the prominent 24-hour orange hand that allows one to tell a.m./p.m. time when underground and out of sight of the sky. This unique arrow gave this reference its Italian nickname – Freccione – while the Steve McQueen Explorer moniker is bogus, as the actor never owned or wore a 1655. The Explorer II offered here is the most sought after – a Mark I example with a straight second hand (the later iterations featured a lollipop hand instead). The watch seen here

Speedmaster Strap Change Question
Hi. If I am removing the the bracelet to put on a leather strap, what Spring bars should I buy. I read that the Omega bracelet comes with 19mm but that when I go to leather I should use 20mm. Is this correct? Also, how wide should they be - 1.8, 2.0, etc? Thanks!!
