Luminox Launches New BlackOut Series for Fall
For Fall 2009, Luminox introduces the BlackOut series. Don’t worry – even though they are going dark, these Luminox watches will still be glowing in 25 years, thanks to their proprietary Luminox Light Technology (LLT), and these models will glow in a new color – blue. Though the watches are completely blacked out – the only thing that’s not black is the logo – Luminox says the watches will be easy to read because of the tone-on-tone look created by the matte black dials and polished black numbers. The first new model, pictured below, is the BlackOut SEAL which is part of the 3050 EVO Navy SEAL collection. The 44mm watch is water resistant to 200 meters and features a carbon-reinforced polymer case, screwed down caseback, protected crown, extra-hard mineral crystal, and is equipped with a polyurethane strap. Sportive as they are, the Hublot Forza watches are designed to underscore the style of a modern man. Each model offers different functions to meet the preferences of any man. A man can decide on the chronograph equipped with a tachymeter scale, or on the 3-hand timepiece with large date and power reserve indication, or on the 3-hand watch with day and date sub-dials, as well as power reserve indication.

Explorer II 16570
Quick Question,I have 3 automatics in my daily rotation and wanted to get y'alls opinion. I have a 2005 black dial stick 36mm datejust (smooth bezel, all brushed oyster bracelet). Is that watch different enough from my Polar Explorer II 16570?I realize both can be considered sports watches. But I feel I can certainly dress up my datejust a lot easier (despite it being a non-fluted, non-jubilee). More recently I started asking myself if those are too similar and wanted to get others opinion on the matter. I realize most of it comes down to personal preference. I do like that dial color makes them totally different as well.My 3rd watch is a 36mm pilot (grey dial on a brown alligator strap). Not that it matters, but gives you perspective of my full luxury lineup (generic pics attached).
Land, Air & Sea Trifecta Complete
Just picked up my new Seadweller 43 to complete my collection (for now) I love the size of it and the wider Oyster bracelet:
