Urwerk UR-CC1, Code Name “King Cobra”
Until now, no one has developed a production wristwatch with true retrograde linear displays. Urwerk’s UR\CC1 achieves this feat. It has two horizontal indications displayed by two retrograde cylinders: one for the (jumping) hours, the other for the minutes. The watch is the result of more than three years of research, development and testing to ensure that the rotation and instant fly\back of the large hour and minute cylinders is achieved without compromising accurate timekeeping.A vertical triple\cam operating a toothed rack (visible through a window in the side of the case – see image below) rotates the minute cylinder. From zero to 60 minutes, the minute cylinder rotates through 300. On arriving at the 60\minute mark, the cylinder reverses back to its original position in 1/10th of a second thanks to an extra\flat linear spring. The retrograde movement of the minute cylinder triggers the hour cylinder to advance (jump) one complete hour. The triple\cam is crafted from
New to AP's, a quick question!
I was looking on ebay and found a few day-date royal oaks with a moonphase complication, which were all from the 90's and older. Do they not make these anymore? Looking on the official website,I couldn't find any moonphase royal oaks: (other than the perpetual calender, and equation of time, which happen to be just slightly out of my $$ range )Thanks in advance.

My First Omega - Decided on the SM 300M
I have been swamped with work and haven't been on the forum as much lately, but thought I'd share an incoming that I'm totally excited about. I've been missing a sports watch since letting go of my SD4K and 16610LV Kermit, and so have started to look for something I can wear with minimal worries. I debated on picking up a no date SubC or maybe the new Black Bay Black, but then came across this SM 300M Master Co-Axial. Completely fell in love with the vintage styling and paired with the very nicely finished Co-Axial 8400 movement. Fits well on the wrist and even comes with a bracelet adjustment that is comparable to Glidelock (I've been spoiled by glidelock and I don't think I can ever own another bracelet watch without an adjustment function). Overall I was really impressed and couldn't resist bringing it home. This is actually my first Omega as well and couldn't be happy I picked this. I always thought my first Omega would be a Speedy Pro but I think for a sports watch the dive
