To flip or not to flip? That is the question
Most of you know that I've recently picked up a 5711 and I'm currently enjoying it very much. It definitely gets the most wrist time out of the few pieces that I own. I wake up every morning and head to the safe, look at both my Nautilus and my AP and I ponder for no more than half a second before I grab my Patek.I have not lost any love for the 15300 but I'm concerned that there are too many similarities between it and my 5711. So much so, that I would always prefer the Patek to the AP in any situation. So here's the dilemma. I've pretty much hit the wall for now on how much I'd like to invest into watches. I don't regret venturing into the world of haute horology but it has definitely limited me to the number of pieces I can possess at any one time. I'm also a person who craves variety and I'm always looking to achieve some sort of balance. While I'm very happy with my current collection I'm constantly thinking about what I can add/replace to have a more well rounded collection. PO 8500 owners please advise on potential problem
Hi guys, I was hoping anyone with a po 8500 could chime in. When I unwind my crown it doesn't pop out like my other watches. Hen in winding positions, my other watches have a nori bile spring to them, you push the crown into the case and screw it down. My po8500 does not, it unscrews and doesn't pop out, just sits there, then has no spring when pushing in to screw it back down. Is this how these watches are supposed to operate or is this an issue?
Incoming 1940 512
First Panerai for me. I always liked the simple classic look. I picked this up from David SW and as usual easy and great transaction. I like the black strap that it came with but I swapped it out for brown. I was lucky the Miami boutique had one left in stock. I feel the color matches perfectly.
How do you think this looks? 422
I dropped by an AD yesterday and tried the 422 on. As I just posted in Ravager's thread, I am pretty much between this and a 510, which I haven't seen in person yet.I was prepared to find the 422 too big at 47mm, bu it didn't wear as huge as I thought it would. What do you think? I already know Mike's opinion
