To mark the opening of their new boutique on Old Bond Street in London, Jaeger-LeCoultre has released the special edition Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931. With a limited run of 26 pieces, the new special edition watch is the most exclusive in the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931 collection. 1 OF 32 OF 3 Following in the steps of the Rouge and Chocolat models from the Tribute Collection, this particular watch features a deep green dial, "reminiscent of the rolling British countryside with a nod to the legendary sporting colour." Additionally, the solid case back features an engraving of the great British landmarks Westminster Palace and Big Ben. Drawn by Jaeger's own design and artistic director, Janek Deleskiewicz, Big Ben and Westminster Palace favorite icons of Jaeger, who featured the full chime melody of Big Ben in the Duome?tre a Grande Sonnerie. I had a sudden business trip to Los Angeles this week and decided to bring just one watch, with GMT complication of course. The beauty of the 233 with its quick change strap is the look can vary with minimal bother. This is a zippered pouch from a company called Granite Gear, not sure exactly where I got it. It will hold 2-3 straps, the release tool and a screwdriver in case a buckle gets loose. You can even tuck the watch in to place in the hotel safe if needed when going to the pool (yes, I know, that's why I should have brought a rubber strap too )

I have always loved the YachtMaster. I thought of it as a sophisticated submariner. Anyway, got the blue dial 4 years ago. Really loved it. it was wonderful. But then at last, got a little bit tired of it and so traded it for the new yacht Master with the platinum dial. Man – what a difference! It is incredibly elegant, beautiful, understated, sleek and incredibly gorgeous! Couldn’t be happier. Surprised at my thoughts since I had seen pictures of the platinum dial yachtmaster many times and was underwhelmed. It never moved me. However in the flesh – it rocks!
