I just wanted to share a positive experience I had at an omega boutique this afternoon. I walked in and the place was empty so as expected I was greeted right away and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I was actually interested in seeing the PO liquid metal 42mm titanium which they had in stock. As I started talking to the guy it turns out he was the tech and not a salesman so he was very knowledgeable about everything and very helpful. He must have showed me 10+ watches with no pressure to buy. After a few min the sales guys came out from the back (guessing they were on break) and joined in on the conversation we were having. I must have spent an hour talking to these guys about omega movements and new omega releases this yr. The tech proceeds to show me the speedmaster mark II re issue and I must say that I really liked the racing dial in person. PP 5960 vs 5205
The 5205 wears quite small for its 40mm size. Does the 5960 wear bigger? Would like a Patek AC with day/date/month windows but my 5205r does look small on me - am wondering about trading up for a 5960r.
