What Omega is this?
Morning folks!I was walking past a pawn shop in London yesterday and spotted this Omega in the shop window. The pawnshop owner wouldn't let me handle the watch and was sat behind a 4 inch thick glass window (guess he may have been bitten by previous experience). He did however hold up and show me the watch so I could take photos of it.Anyone know what kind of Omega this is? And if its genuine? I just bought a 3572.50 and need one more link to make it fit perfect. Is the best place to get these Offrei? I can find 2, 3 digit numbers on the bracelet, but cannot find the 4 digit that offrei needs. Maybe I need to get a magnifying glass. Also, how many removable links should my bracelet have? Mine has 3 on each side. Thanks

Just a thought/question I've had lately and wanted to put out for the opinion of you esteemed Patek enthusiasts on a Rolex forum: With the ongoing craze for the Nautilus causing steel 5711/12 5980s/90s to reach 2nd hand prices closer to the 50-60k mark, do any of you consider the relative (value and collectibility) merit of purchasing a manual wound Daytona instead? I suspect the vast majority of you (and myself I'll say) all waited and purchased your Nautilus from an AD at retail. But, when multiple treads on this forum have started asking how many non coveted PM Pateks one has to purchase from an AD to be considered for the opportunity to purchase a steel 5711 for 30k, obviously we all see at least a slight bubble. It hard to predict the future but manual wound Daytonas have been the top echelon of Rolex and sport but really all watch collectibility for a generation. Can we say the same for the modern Nautilus in whatever metal? These are tribute models produced for the last 12 years

Millennials asking questions
While talking watches with different demographics, I can't help but notice the following opinions over and over again, especially from young educated individuals that are less susceptible to any hype:1) Why does Rolex produce diving watches that can go to depths humans can't, when all it does is negatively affect everyday wearability2) Why would you drill an extra hole in the case (HEW), when the few people that actually need one are unlikely to dive with a $10k+ watch3) Why would you make brightly bi-coloured bezels, when Rolex needs to project elegance and class4) Why would you continue to produce so called sports and tool watches, when people doing sports wear Apple, Fitbit, Suunto, etc. and don't want to worry about their watch while doing so (�� substitute your own is it safe activity��). In addition, a smart watch provides significantly more functionality.5) Why does Rolex stick to obsolete looking cases, instead of designing with simple, modern, and elegant curves that project c
