TAG Heuer Monaco V4 No. 1 for Only Watch
In 2004, TAG Heuer created the revolutionary Monaco V4 Concept Watch. Inspired by the brand's motor racing heritage (the watch's name comes from the racing-engine-like V-formation of the movement's four barrels), the V4 uses ball bearings and is belt-driven C a totally new type of watch movement. The Monaco V4 is the first mechanical watch movement to replace traditional pinions with driving belts. The pinions of the traditional mechanical movement have been replaced with a relay of five driving belts whose tension is controlled by turnbuckles. A unique linear automatic winding system is used to reload energy. The oscillating weight which generally supplies the energy for an automatic watch has been replaced by a linear oscillating weight. Is there any source for aftermarket 502T endlinks?
I've been looking 502T endlinks to use with a D series (no holes) 16710 GMT. Found some on Ebay, but $705 for just endlinks without a bracelet is more than I am willing to pay.Are there any aftermarket sources for 502T-equivalent endlinks?
Selecting A First (and possibly only) Rolex Sports Watch
Hi All!Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself as a new member of this amazing forum! I have always had an affinity for watches and all things manufactured and/or engineered. I have just started to become, what I consider to be, a serious watch collector and would love to have your opinions on which Rolex sports model you all would suggest for me. I work in real estate development so I am constantly shifting between rigorous work environments and more gentile settings (think architects offices, bank meetings, etc). I currently have a Speedmaster Professional on a leather strap as my daily wearer and wanted to add something to alternate with when the mood strikes me. I love my Speedmaster but a little bit of variety is more than welcome and I have come to really appreciate the Rolex brand!I have plotted out what I feel will be my future collection, I think its important to consider the entire context of the collection to answer the question I have posed:Daily Wear: - Speedmaste
How to authenticate second hand Rolex watch
Greetings to all of youI'm mostly a silent reader of this forum and have been bitten by Rolex bug recently. I'm looking to buy a day-date model. With my budget constraints, I'm looking into second hand market (mostly 1803/18038 model as they're cheaper). I wonder if its possible to authenticate them by some store/expert than sending them to Rolex Service center? My location is Central NJ.Thanks for all your help.P.S.: this is the watch which caught my eye- swissangeles/rolex-men-s-...nd-18038-model
