Panerai’s first watches for left-handers were created in the early 1940s for Italian Navy commandos. Today, these are highly sought-after by collectors. This historic peculiarity is the distinctive feature of the new Luminor 1950 Chrono Monopulsante Left-handed 8 Days Titanio, a special edition with the the single-button manufacture P.2004/9 chronograph movement. The single pusher controls all the chronograph functions �C start, stop, reset. The seconds reset function enables the watch to be synchronized with a reference time signal.The 44mm Luminor 1950 case is made of brushed titanium with a polished bezel and a sapphire crystal back which enables the movement to be observed and the power reserve to be read via an indicator placed on a bridge. Was in the market to add a companion to my 116610lv and BLNR. Polled TRF recently and many suggested a DJ to compliment my pair. Well I went out on a limb and pulled the trigger on this one. What do you all think? Not sure if I'm a TT kind of person, but have the chance to exchange this for a rhodium dial with smooth bezel and jubilee bracelet if I want.
