la Montre Verte City Pulse Pollution Detecting "Green Watch"
Here is a cool idea that is more than just a concept, but actually being done right now. Pictured above is the "Green Watch" and it is part of the la Montre Verte City Pulse project currently taking place in Paris France. It was started by the FING (Fondation Internet Nouvelle Generation) The project's goal is to create a system to measure air and noise pollution in urban centers, eventually learning how to create environmentally sustainable cities. There are currently three prototype Green Watches being worn that have air and noise sensors. The watches collect information and use a mobile phone that the wearer has to transmit information back for the database. 26320 upward price trend vs 26331
With the recent upward price trend on the 26320 AP royal oak chrono it puts them at around 20k US for a nice example. A new 26331 can be had for around 21k making them almost the same price. Given this information which would you opt for? It looks like the 26331 is a slow seller from what I can see. Any thoughts ?Josh
Just sent in my ROC
It has been running slow by a few minutes per week so sent it in to APSC last week for warranty check. Was advised that it would take 4 to 6 weeks to regulate and test the watch. This is the first time parting with it for so long, start to miss it now...
New Tool = Perfect Fit
I was in between strap holes on my 44FC standard rubber strap so... Purchased the Bergeon 6730.Dialed up Clearwater and ordered a short strap - thanks for the tip Paul!Mounted a short strap on the 44FC (strap side only) for a perfectly dialed in fit. Almost feels like a took a 1/2 link out of my rubber strap.
Tried on the Pilot Travel Time 5524 - wrist shots
Had the chance to try on the 5524 and honestly loved it in person. The dial is very well balanced, and the the color is just right - a very subtle grayish blue. There's not much I can add that hasn't already been said elsewhere on this forum, except for that the new buckle was designed to look like the buckles on the over-shoulder straps that keep fighter pilots locked into their seats.
