AD visit
I was in town and visiting my AD so I decided to check out their inventory. I was glad to see a new 41mm royal oak since I hadn't had the chance to try it on. I was also my first time trying on a forged carbon offshore, wow, that watch is amazing. They also had a panda on the bracelet, a bumble bee, and quite a few others but I only managed to get wrist shots of these 2.
Iced my Avenger II GMT
Loving the new Avenger II GMT, perfect size and profile for daily wear, but I wanted a little more pop. Had my jeweler buddy do his magic and here's the results!! IMO the black dial and diamonds just make it POP!! Tx for looking!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

5167 and....
Hey TRF:The only two watches in my current collection are the PP 5167 and the Rolex BLNR. I feel like those two provide me with a nice balance of Rolex/Patek, color, steel/rubber, extra complication, etc. Even though I like the BLNR, the 5167 gets the majority of the wrist time. I absolutely love the aquanaut!Every time I look at a picture of the 5711, I'm in awe of it's beauty. If I traded my BLNR, do you think that it's redundant to have the 5167 and 5711 as my only two watches? They have the same movement and other similarities, but I think they could also be an excellent compliment to each other. To help you give me feedback, I'd like to let you know that 1) I really don't have a practical use for a watch with a lot of complications, and I really have no use for a dress watch, so sport watches appeal to me most 2) I'm in my late 20s 3) I would trade the BLNR for 5711 and would have to add ~$15k which is obviously a lot of money.Soooo should I keep the BLNR, keep cash, and enjoy m
Worldwide availability SS sports models
I thought it would be quite interesting to know the worldwide availability of Rolex SS sports models. In some countries like the UK for example you cant even get a Sub 114060 without being a couple of weeks or months in a waiting list. This is crazy For me as Im located in Germany I can say it depends of course on the model you are looking for but you could get if you're lucky a 116710LN or a 116610LN straight from the window, if not it should not take longer than a month to get it.Other lead times from many AD's around my area:Batman: 2-6 monthsHulk: 4-6 monthsSD 126600: 6-12 monthsBlue Sky Dweller: 2-3 yearsSS Daytona: not a chance to get on a listI have the impression in the US and Canada is a bit easier to buy a hard to get SS model depending where you live. Whats your experience? What are the lead times in your area?
