Swatch Touch Watches
The T-Touch technology from Tissot watches (developed for them by ETA which, like Tissot, is Swatch Group owned) is finally making its way down-market to Swatch. This will debut in a new collection of watches called the Swatch Touch. These fun digital timepieces will come in a host of colors and have no pushers/button. Rather, all the functions of the watch will be activated via touching zones on the dial. The digital dials on the colored plastic cases are LCD displays in various colors. The numerals have a unique rounded styles to them that you'll love or hate. The cases are a bit barrel-shaped and integrate with the straps. I am not sure about the size of the watch but they shouldn't be too small. Price for the Swatch Touch watch will be $149.00. More details from Swatch:"Swatch Touch 2011 models give touch-screen access to six digital functions: time (2 zones, t1 & t2), date, chrono, alarm, timer and beep. Users sweep through the functions with ease using finger-taps and sideways
Thinking of getting a 26331ST.OO.1220ST.01
Went to a Boutique over the weekend. They only had one REF. #26331ST.OO.1220ST.01 and it was sold. The owner was due to pick it up any minute. I obviously couldn’t try it on but I LOVED it. So couple questions. Does it make a decent daily? My day is at my desk but I’ve scratched up my gold sub in the year I’ve had it so I’d assume this will be similar? I’ll probably sell my WG SUB and wear the ROC as my daily using my 44 for nights out, dinners etc. The sales person said she could order me one. I’d probably have it in around one month and need to put down a 25% deposit. This sound right? Anyone have recent experience? If so did you pay msrp? (No discount)I’ve never paid list for anything. Not watches ( several rolexes, several ap ( rg44, plat 44, ceramic 44), not cars. I always say I’m not gonna sell the watch but I always do. Will be worse paying list. Why is the price of ~$24k so close to their other 41s with no Chrono? Not sure I
Buying an AP in Tokyo?
Hey all. Newly joined member as I have been stuck looking for information. I'm vacationing in Tokyo (I'm from Toronto) for a few days, and I've been looking around for new or gently used preown APs. I have to say, Tokyo is pretty amazing in terms of selection!I was just inside the AP boutique shop in Ginza, and was quoted 2400000 yen for the ROC SS. They have them in black, white, or blue dial!As a reference, used goes for 2000000 yen here. I find it interesting from the sales rep that there's no room for negotiation, as another AP AD (best watches in Shinjuku) was ready to negotiate. I was hoping members on this board can assist me with the pricing in Europe, US and Canada with the 2016 price for this? I tried searching and couldn't find the info. Or another option is to go with DavidSW, but am I losing anything from not buying from an AD?Thank you!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Second watch the hardest?
Well here’s the problem. Bought an Explorer over a year ago and love it. When I tried it on for the first time I knew straight away that I wanted it. Now I’m looking for my second watch and it’s oroving difficult!Been all over the place. Thought about saving for a Patek 5196 but decided it probably wouldn’t stand up to daily wear. Currently tossing up between a Datejust 126334 (Fluted, Jubilee, silver dial) and a Sub 114060. I tend towards the more formal so like the size of the DJ but it does wear similarly to my Explorer. The Sub feels HUGE, but maybe I’m just used to a 39mm watch?Everyone has something different they’re looking at in a watch. For me I love that a Rolex will last forever. Probably the main thing I think of is being able to pass a watch down to my newborn twin boys. So, any thoughts on these two?Cheersps. Sorry about the small photos, can’t figure out how to post full size images
