A Pair of Jumbos
Happy new year all. Just thought I'd share some pics of my 5402 A series and somewhat newer PP 5711. I really like how the 5402 dial has an almost pearlescent sheen to it. Not sure if this has developed over time. It's quite different from the new 15202 which is much bluer although I see there may be a new variant of this which is closer to the original. Hope you like the pics, I'm not nearly as handy with a camera as some on here.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Is it worth trying?
Hi and sorry for the yet another 5711/5712 related postI will be traveling to Singapore around May 2018 and wanted to check with members that live in or are familiar with Singapore if it is worth contacting ADs there regarding either the 5711 or 5712?? I know my trip is still far but just wondering if my chances will increase if I contact the ADs from now and may be offer to pay a deposit for a chance to have it available by May.I am on so many waiting lists mainly in Europe (as the States is relatively far for me) but I don't think I will be able to get one any time soon. Few months ago I called almost every AD in Europe regarding these two watches and only 7 ADs agreed to put my name on a waiting list with 3-5 years estimate.. So honestly I don't know what more to do. I just regret the many times I saw it and tried it on in 2010 and 2011 and never bought it. I loved it back then but was so into Rolex watches and thought that in the future I will buy a Nautilus... Anyway, your help on
Worth it?
Hello everyone. From coming home from work I ventured into one of the gold stores to look at some watches. I was supprised to find this Tudor Daydate Prince watch for only $750. I realized the day was stuck on it and after teling them they said they would definitely fix that before purchase. The bracelet does have some considerable stretch, but otherwise it seemed to be in good condition. Is this a good price for this watch? I hear a lot about this watch being hard to obtain, is it? And should i trust their ability to fix the day wheel? https://m.imgur/gallery/QvGAYSD

I'm in hot pursuit of my first Daytona
I'm in hot pursuit of my first Daytona.I'm now wondering if maybe I should forego buying a highly overpriced 116500LN ($18,000-$20,000+) and instead go for a well cared for 116520. Should I decide to pursue a second hand Daytona SS 116520 which year model should I set my sights on? Are the newer year(s) such as 2014-15 better than previous years? Do any of the 116520 model years have annoying characteristics I should avoid?Any other pointers and suggestions? Many thanks for your help.
