Introducing: The Montblanc 4810 Chronograph Automatic
Along with all of its other introductions at SIHH 2016, Montblanc has revamped the classic 4810 Chronograph Automatic with a new case size and an updated movement – while still managing to maintain the aesthetic of the line. 1 OF 1 The new 4810 Chronograph Automatic features a 43 mm stainless-steel case (previously the watch was available in 44 to 47 mm). The dial is the familiar silvered guilloché with “exploding star pattern” and has applied red-gold-plated Roman numerals. The new movement is the automatic caliber MB 25.07 movement with 46-hour power reserve. The watch is complete with 30-minute and 12-hour registers. The original 4810 Automatic Chronograph can be seen here.More details, pricing and pictures to follow. Need some advice on the "T" watch...
What do people here think about the AP Royal Oak Extra Thin Tourbillon in stainless steel? I might get a pretty good offer from a local AD that I'm very close with. This will be my first ap tourbillon and something that I think will stand the test of time will be passed on to the next generation. However, I will need to let go of 2-3 AP's depending on which I let go. I don't wanna spend extra cash on it so the question is, which 2-3 would you let go if you were me to acquire this grail. This will be a keeper for sure. I presume keepers:- RO stainless steel skeleton perpetual calendar- RO 15305 rose gold open work- ROO RB2 ti The ones I could sacrifice:- RO 15202 rose gold- ROO jarno trulli- ROO QE2 diver- ROO ceramic diver- ROO Novelty navy 42mmSo if you were me, which 2-3 watches would you sacrifice or should I just enjoy my current collection and don't be silly.
Is the Explorer 214270 Mk1 currently the best bang for your buck Rolex?
It looks like an mk1 with the WG non lumed 3-6-9 is going for around $4500 - 5200 asking price on the forums. That seems like a great deal to me for probably the most versatile modern Rolex that could easily fill a 1 watch collection.I personally prefer the WG 3-6-9 on the mk1. I find the lumed 3-6-9 on the mk2 makes the watch look more generic and subdued. And I find the short hands criticism almost trivial. Are there better deals to be had on a modern rolex?
DJii-116334-Rhodium Dial-Diamond Index-SS-Oyster Band
Hi all, new to the forums here....I will be purchasing this watch as my very 1st Rolex on Friday.I will be using it for daily use around the office. My question is: With this being a retired model and with the semi-newly released DJ41 & all of its updated features- Will that have any affect on the value/demand of this model over time? I don't ever plan on selling the watch, but I do want to have the peace of mind of knowing that in a WCS I will always be able to get back what I paid or at least close to it for that matter. Personally, I'm not at all a watch connoisseur so the new movement, refined stick, and other features the DJ41 offers does not appeal to me. I'm strictly going for what is most attractive to me looks wise. I love the thicker case that the DJiis presents and considering it being a bit more inside of my preferred budget I am just about 100% sold on it.Any advice/feedback provided would be greatly appreciated. As I said before, I'm a first time buyer so I would like
