AP terminator
I watched Terminator 3 the other day and at the beginning Arnold, the robot terminator for those who aren't fan of this type of movies, steals a car and inside the car there's a watch, an AP ROO, didn't quite catch the model, but what's funny is that you see through his eyes and within a whole lot of robot things it analyses the watch and you see ACCURATE.Found funny that AP was in the movie, but strange that some guy would leave his ROO in his pick up I also very often leave my Patek or AP in my car Here's a link if you want to take a look it's at 15 minutes for those who don't want to watch the whole movie, it has something of the AP survivor but different, seems to me they made a prototype for the movie as I never saw one like this before...putlocker.ms/watch-terminator...putlocker.html
A winder question...
Hi guys.Lately I have been struggling with the way I am handling my precious AP's. I have them all displayed on a winder and they look great. But, Is this the way to go?I have heard a lot of stories regarding the winder pro vs cons, but I really dont know what to make of all the info thats out there. The only thing that I can see positive from a winder, aside of having your watch ready, is the fact that you can break them in. Sometimes you will not be able to determine if something is wrong with your watch the first year if you just wear them occasionally. The other thing is, although having the motor running all the time, might shorten the watch life span, wouldn't it be the same for the crown? I have seen horror stories of loose crowns etc. since they have to be manipulated on a constant basis. What do you guys think? Can you guys give me a little piece of mind?

Issue with my 5167 should I care to take it to Patek?
As some of you know I bought a lovely 5167 and I love the watch.. All my other watches are locked away indefinatly.. Yesterday on the 23'rd my day was not completly in the datebox. 2/3 of it was on 23 and 1/3 still on 22. Today on the 24th it is fine again.. I am not a stickler that is going to go crazy or lose sleep over it but I also do not want it to turn into a larger problem when the watch in out of warrenty. The watch is not even 6 months old yet but I am the 2nd owner but that should not be a issue for the warrenty correct? I also do not want to be without the watch for weeks or months so what would you do? Did anyone ever notice this on there 5167?
Are 42mm PAMs discounted more or less than larger (normal) sizes?
Hey guys - It's been several years since buying a panerai (have been on a Rolex run), and was considering getting a 42mm submersible but unsure how much of a discount can be had on these - I assume 42mm is less popular and probably has worse resale value, so wondering if I should be able to get more of a discount. I tried one on at a boutique out of state , so could ship without taxes. And while this is a boutique , it is owned and operated by a private jewelry store literally on the other side of the mall. Thanks for any insight into PAM pricing!P.s. watch in question is pam 682Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
