Watches NEWS
Versace fans gladly welcome the new Versace Gallery watches
Versace fans gladly welcome the new Versace Gallery watches demonstrating an appealing Art Deco style. The curved case is rendered in polished, 18k red-gold. It has been created in three sizes - 19mm, 22mm and 26mm. The bezel and central hour ring on the dial are paved with full-cut diamonds. The brown dial is also decorated with a stamped guilloche pattern. The outer part of the dial is embellished with the signature "exploding" Arabic numerals also crafted in 18k gold. To guarantee supreme readability, the faceted hands are Superluminova-coated.
Omega PO 8500: 8 seconds fast in 3 days?
Is that a lot? Should I be concerned?I bought the watch 2 months ago. I am using the online US Naval Observatory clock as my reference.....should I be using something else?.usno.navy.mil/USNO/time/d...cks/simpletime
Seamaster Bezel
Hi guys,I need your helpI have a 1997 seamaster Pro Blue Bond gents size and i need a new bezel insert as the one i have is all faded. I went to the Omega boutique here in sydney and they told me i cant get just the insert (like you can get for the Rolex Sub) and i would have to buy a whole new bezel at $231!!!Is this right? Does anyone know where i can buy the bezel insert? Or does anyone know where i can buy the whole bezel cheaper?? ( I would prefer just the insert though)...Thanks guys
Servicing Advice On Vintage Omega Constellation
Hi All, My first post on this forum - looking forward to gleaning and sharing as much info with everyone :)I have just recently started to enjoy the intricacies of watchmaking and am becoming an avid student of watches.I recently acquired a vintage Omega Constellation (1972 i am told but will get more details soon when i take it in for service).Just wondering if anyone can give advice on where i should take this to get serviced in the Sydney Australia region.I have been told that Omega actually do not service their watches in house anymore and just send it off to other experienced servicing centres in town. If this is the case, I am considering taking it directly to one of these service centres to cull the costs. Any thoughts or advice? Also, i will be taking photos of this watch soon to post up for all to enjoy :)I also inherited an old Cyma which i will post details of soonThanks in advance guys and girls
Would you Trade.....
Would you trade a really nice 5134g (Travel Time) for a 5110p (World Time)?I really love the 5134g as I am into GMT/Travel Watches. That said, the 5110p is basically my grail watch (top of the tree in the GMT/travel genre) and the world timers are quintessential Patek. If you would do that trade, since the 5110p is platinum and more expensive, what do you think would be a reasonable amount to add in order to make a fair deal? Here are a few photos of the 5134g in case you are not familiar with the model.
