Raymond Weil Anniversary Parsifal
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Parsifal, Raymond Weil’s most well-recognized collection. Named for a Wager opera and launched in 1990, Parsifal is Raymond Weil’s flagship line. To celebrate the anniversary, Raymond Weil has produced an anniversary chronograph featuring six godron dcor on the bezel and a signature lacquer crown with the RW monogram. The 2010 Parsifal collection is the fifth generation of this core line. The 41mm automatic chronograph has an 18k rose gold and stainless steel case with a black dial on a full-skin black alligator strap. Available in stores beginning this month, the anniversary piece will retail at $3,895.
Changed the bracelet
Just replaced my black croc bracelet with the two tone.
Why does Omega keep changing their watch designs?
Except for the Speedy, I've noticed all Omega models go through dozens of never-ending iterations. When the Skyfall AT came out, I loved it as it was an amazing design. When I was ready to pull the trigger, they announced the master co-axial, removed the date window, and polished the center links. When I started to like that version, I now see they changed the date to be at 6 o clock and with a horizontal teak dial instead of vertical. This drives me crazy! Why can't they just stick to one design and make it a classic? Not to mention all of the one-off limited editions floating around in the market.I get that they want to keep things fresh, but I don't want to buy a watch from them if it's going to get outdated the next year. For the record, I don't have a Speedy because my wrist is terribly small for it, otherwise I'd be all over it.
Can anyone help me? Last call!!
It is about quartz models.Size 41 mm.They are discontinued.Would need to know which is the last model that was manufactured to see if I can still find a new one. I guess these are the numbers of models that are close to this time: 2541.80 and 2221.80 but not completely sure. Not that I'm a fan of quartz but I need a watch so accurate. Thanks guys.
Does this look authentic?
I'm thinking of purchasing this watch from a local private owner. I haven't seen it in person yet, but it will be a face to face deal. He originally wanted $1500, but after talking to me a couple of times I have him down to $1100. It doesn't have box or papers, and the kicker is he says it is a quartz, but the pic to me looks like an automatic four lines of text, though blurry, in my book means Chronometer. So either the pic isn't of the actual watch, or he doesn't know what he has... I'm gonna offer him 1k, and if he accepts I'll go check it out in person. Maybe a little warm to the touch? Hmmm.... Thoughts? I have a weakness for this particular model.
