Quartz Patek Philippe And More Watch Lots In April 15th Fellows Auction
Sponsored PostThe catalogue for Fellows' 15th April Vintage & Modern Wrist Watches Auction is now available to view online, presenting the usual eclectic mix of watches with something for every budget. That said; collectors looking for something special not will be disappointed. Below we highlight one contemporary watch for men, one for ladies and a vintage gem.The association of watch brands with motorsport can have a numbers of driving factors (if you pardon the pun). This may be a historical connection where drivers have used the company's product as tools of the trade or it may me a more blatant attempt to push brand profile, with any connection having its origin in the marketing department's imagination rather than in the pit lane or on a driver's wrist. Window Shopping...
Hello AP Fans...I went window shopping today and tried on this beautiful 26400SO... To me this is the Ceramic Panda... just beautiful! It was being offered at a great price but I was just not sure if I would be able to wear it on my 6.5 wrists... Here are a few photos I took... please enjoy... also I have my Diver wrist shot as well to compare...Feedback is welcomed! What do you think?
Rough Valuation
After viewing Jockes conversion in the rolex discussions, it got me thinking that I haven't worn this watch for nearly 20 years, I bought it used around 22 years ago and had it serviced about 12 months ago as it wasn't running properly ( not surprising really) the chap who serviced it said it was worth a few hundred pounds, I think I'm going to either sell it or part exchange it for more of a sports watch which I know I'll wear. Would appreciate an idea of valuation or even a model type or No.ThanksPhil
Just bought a used Watch with undeclared damage
Hi,I am after some advice please.Yesterday I purchased a used daytona from a well known dealer over the internet. Before I purchased it I asked if the dial had any damage and I was told than there was no damage and the watch was perfect.I just received the watch and there is damage on the dial mist noticeably on the 6 o'clock sub dial but on other points too - near 27 minute marker, on subdial near 9 o'clock looks like a hair/lint on inside or crystal and then there is a mark between subdial. What is your view on this?
Watch pics upgraded!
I recently bought an iPhone X and I have to say I'm really impressed with the camera. Previously I've had an iPhone 7 and an iPhone 6+ and they're not even in the same ballpark. In addition to taking awesome pics of my little kiddos it's fantastic for wrist shots!I'm not super into tech and I'm sure other phone companies have had great cameras for years. But I've had an iPhone since they came out and I'm too stubborn to change. So I'm happy I can now finally take some worthy wrist shots. So what do you use? Now let's share some wrist shots!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
