Earlier this year I had the pleasure of visiting Glashütte Original's manufacture in Saxony, and I was impressed with what I saw. This watch is a perfect example of what makes Glashütte Original a brand to watch. Released at Baselworld 2013, the Senator Chronometer Regulator is a modern take on the regulator longcase clocks that Glashütte was known for in the nineteenth century and both the dial and movement are worth taking a closer look at. 2 OF 14 The Glash��tte Original Senator Chronometer Regulator On The Wrist Starting with Glashütte Original's 42mm Senator case (in either red or white gold), the Chronometer Regulator is big enough to make the regulator layout highly legible while still sitting nicely on the wrist. Much bigger and the watch would feel clunky, smaller and it would be difficult to read at a glance. Do anyone know the case number for the midsize Seamaster? I'm looking for some spares from Otto Frei but I don't have the tools necessary to open the caseback on my watch

ok, im not posting this in the Rolex general forum because Ill get shreaded in to a million pieces But its almost time to buy a new watch, and ive been saving up for a Deepsea or maybe a GMT TT..but the price really got me thinking.. With the price of one Rolex, I could get 3 very decent watches.. It took so long saving up for the watch, and my mind was always set on another Rolex, but now that i almost have the funds, it got me thinking again; maybe I should 'expand' my collection and try a few different brands..What do you guys think?VSI currently have a TT Sub and a moonwatch btw

My First Pam! Finally!
First of all, thanks to all the Pam community here on TRF. It was so helpful to hear from so many people each time a 'newbie' like me posted some silly question.The photos you guys post and your knowledge of these watches and explanations about them really pushed me into getting my first one.It was a hard decision as I do not take a 'big' purchase lightly. My last big watch purchase was 19 years ago, so I make sure I know exactly what makes me happy and hope I will be able to look down at it years from now and have it still make me smile. Swapped out the aftermarket dial on my 16013. Love the outcome!
I never had experience with aftermarket dials. I ended up purchasing a Rolex with an aftermarket mother of pearl dial which i personally actually liked. After receiving feedback from a few forums and noticing that the aftermarket dial actually slightly covered the date numbers through the date window, i decided to swap out the face with an authentic Rolex dial. I couldn't be happier with the outcome
