Ball Watches Get High (UP) With The New Engineer Master II Aviator GMT
Surprisingly, Ball Watch Co. is about to release a relatively straight-forward and simple watch. I am a big fan of the brand, but lately their new watches have been getting functionally (and cosmetically) more and more complex. I always have appreciated their simple masculine looks that weren't trying to hard to be something they were not. From the a mechanical thermometer, to complex chronographs, and multi-timezone laden watches; Ball does have some interesting offerings. Even the lauded Engineer Master line has been getting visually more complicated. Now Ball has changed directions a bit and taken a bit more of a conservative approach. AP owners Feedback.
This is to all the 15400 Royal Oak owners. Recently I have been looking in to the Royal Oak 15400, blue dial. It is a classic pieces for sure and timeless design. I like to know and get some feed bad about 15400. How sturdy is the movement and what do service run on these bad boys. I hear people are saying it is scratch magnet. is it like daytona? and also would you buy it second hand or new? Sorry this would be my first AP so i like to gather lots of info and still shopping around.
Lunch time purchase, Omega Planet Ocean 42mm...
So instead of having a meal like all human beings I scooted over to my retailer to pick this up.Case size is just right at 42mm, and I opted for the one with the orange numerals. Felt the 45mm version a bit too huge for me after trying it on.Case thickness is quite obvious when worn, and the clear caseback is nice to have but not essential for myself. Thanks for reading, fellas! 😄My usual wrist pic...

I bought this original print for cheap off Ebay. Thought I'd share. Did you know the Speedy was selling for $185 retail in those days?!
Got the call today for my first ever!
Ive been on a couple lists for just a short time frame so it was totally unexpected that I got the call today. My first watch is going to be The Hulk! Snow is moving into the area but if I can get there tomorrow it will be mine. This after a BLNR deal fell through on me just yesterday, I was pretty tore up. Cool thing is the AD said I was local, a business owner and had actually stopped in the store to talk to them to prove I wasn't trying to flip so Im the guy that got the call. Told him to keep me on the BLNR list and maybe, just maybe I can talk him into putting me on the list for a ...... oh crap, I cant even say it. At 53 years of age having admired the date just and TT blue submariner my entire life its finally happening!
