Baselworld Preview: Glashtte Original Pocket Watch No. 1
At Baselworld 2010, Glashtte Original will present their rose gold Pocket Watch No. 1 with quarter hour repetition in a limited edition of 25 pieces. A historical watch by Julius Assmann, a famous pioneer of the Glashtte watchmaking industry, served as the model. The repeater first strikes the previous hours, and then in a higher tone, the number of quarter hours that have elapsed since the last full hour. Calling all Houston, Tx Owners/ADs
Hey folks, Newbie here... I've been a Panerai guy for the last few years and am getting ready to jump into an AP. I've tried the 42mm ROO's when I was in Vegas a few times and on my 6 wrist, it looked too big. However, now that I'm ready to buy, I want to try it again. I don't think there are any boutiques in Houston but are there are any AD's? I was also hoping to meet some local AP folks that wouldn't mind meeting up for coffee (on me) and educating me a little about on AP and their ownership experience. Anyway, any input is appreciated. Here's an obligatory shot of my past and current Panerais. Pam 48 Pam 183Pam 88Edwin
AP Dual Time Question
Hello Guys...I went to look at this AP Dual Time today... beautiful watch! However, the AD told me that they stopped making this watch now and its the last one they have in the shop!Anyone confirm this? Also I called to check about a 1.5 link and the Service Center was not helpful at all. They told me that I had to send the watch into there service centre via the AD and then they will check out the watch and then let me know if a 1.5 link is available for this watch! Sound a bit much just for a simple link no?
