SS RO - which parts are made of precious metal?
So I will soon be posting an incoming thread and will finally be joining the AP club in about a week's time In the meantime I have gone into extreme AP WIS mode So I've been wondering about which parts of the steel ROs are made of precious metals or other exotic materialsAFAIK the bezel/case screws are made of white gold? How about hour markers? White gold as well, like Rolex?Movement rotor is made of 22K gold? Please correct/add as necessary
I'm in LOVE...
Well I've never paid much attention to APs but after we got the AP sub forum here on TRF I've been following closely. I'm head over heels for the AP ROO Chrono ref. 26170ST.OO.1000ST.01. I've looked but not seen as many pics as I would like. Any wrist shots guys? My grails were the WG Sub C or GMTIIC in YG with green dial. I think I'll take the AP over both. I don't want this to turn into a discount or price thread but what should I expect to pay for the watch. I was going to buy another $10k ish watch but I want to hold off for the AP now. It might take a little while to save since I am getting married in 4 months (not paying for wedding but buying my fianc a Rolex DJ in gold with diamond bezel.) I would also like some AD references in NJ, Philly, or NY. I would really like to buy from AD since it will be my last big watch purchase for a while. Do AP ADs discount (I know it's prob depending on customer?). I do want it on the bracelet if that matter. Thanks so much for any help you c
5711
Hey guys, can someone tell me the retail price of the 5711 in Austria? I want to buy it very soon.Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
Thinking of selling a couple rolex for a Aquanaut.
So, I am giving some thought into selling my 116613LB and Explorer(39mm) it help fund my first PP, Aquanaut. Before I do this I need to know what to expect from the watch. I am not sure, but I think it is safe to assume that the Aquanaut will not be as durable as the two Rolexs mentioned. With that being said, the use of the watch will not be for heavy use. i will leave that to my Hulk Submariner, which I plan to keep. The intent of use will be for travel, possibly swimming, dinner, Church and other medium task. No golf or tennis or snorkeling, eventhough I believe it ca handle diving 60'. Please tell me if the watch is too delicate like its siblings and that I am better off keeping what I have, or will it do what I want it to do without breaking a sweat. Also, what can I expect form the company itself when it comes to warranty, service and cost of service.
