Considering trading/selling my Explorer I (39mm) for Omega Aqua Terra
First of all, I'm sure I'll regret this because I love my Explorer. It's one of the most comfortable watches I've ever owned and I just love the look. HOWEVER, the one thing that is starting to bother me is the lack of date. With that said, I've been considering a similar watch/look/pedigree, so the 41.5 Omega Aqua Terra Calibre 8500 is a possible replacement. I need to check it out in person, because I'm not sure if I'll like the teak look of the dial. Perhaps I should also consider an older Aqua Terra for the glossy black dial? Anyone make the switch that I'm considering making? Looking forward to your thoughts, Here is my ExplorerExplorer 39mm by synth19, on Flickr
Thinking about buying an Omega Speedmaster. Don't know much need advice.
Hey all, I'm looking at buying a used Omega Speedmaster caliber 1140 from a private owner here in Toronto. The watch doesn't come with box or papers and hasn't been serviced for 3-4 years. The owner wants $1250 for it which seems like a pretty good deal. I've done some research on the watch itself (the movement and caliber) and am skeptical about the chrono module because apparently it cannot be serviced, only replaced. So let me know what you guys think in regards to the price and this specific model of Speedmaster.
Going to London next week looking for a Nautilus
Called a few places in London and was told 2-3 years waiting list for a Rose Gold 5711 or a 5980 on Leather. Anyone know if that is the issue across London?
Nautilus collectors thread

New purchase - need help / advice
Hi everyone,I'm very new to this forum and I am looking for a 3135 date wheel. I've found the exact one I'm looking for and just wondered if anyone knew the seller or could vouch for him before I part with my cash.I have found two;1) Seller name - Rolex001 (email - vintagerolex001)Asking price 1152) seller name - rlx1986. Asking price 170 Both say their product is geniune Rolex but I just don't know how much you can trust a stranger over the internet when he's trying to sell you something lol.I know you have TD's are the above sellers TD's?Obviously the first one is a better buy as it's a lot cheaper and identical but I'd rather pay more for the geniune peice so just wondered if anyone could advise on which one you think I should go for.ThanksTom
