Twenty-4 Anniversary present
My wife never really got excited about a nice watch and made me take back a Rolex I bought for her once. We are on vacation and today is our 20th anniversary. I bought this for her without her seeing it and she absolutely loves it. We are going back to the AD tomorrow to get it sized and look for my present.
almost as beautifull as a 5070
.........the 5170such a nice piece but I still prefer the 5070
Help a girl choose - DJ TT or Black dial w/ Diamonds?
Hi, I usually read but rarely post... seems a lot of posters here are male, which is great. I have polled my girlfriends, so it will be interesting to hear some male opinions!Help me choose - I currently have a 31mm very simple silver dial for everyday wear. I am looking for a dressier Rolex, so I have narrowed it down to the 36mm DJ black dial with diamonds, or two-tone DJ with white dial. They are both approximately the same price.I want something that is eye catching and dressy as my current Rolex is quite simple. Some of my considerations:I don't have any yellow gold jewelry and I tend to choose white metals. Both my Love and JUC are white. However, I find myself drawn to the two tone as it screams classic Rolex to me. Do you agree with this, in your opinion is the two tone more classic and timeless than all white?I'm not sure if yellow gold would even complement my skin tone... opinions please?I don't want a watch that looks too similar to the one I currently have.I love diamonds on
Am I nuts for considering this? Sub to Exp 2
I currently own a Sub ND and it's an amazing daily wearer that works for any type of occasion. I also have a BLNR that wears very differently from the Sub but my dilemma is that both look very similar. Originally, I never considered the Explorer 2 42mm because I have a ~6.5 wrist and it looked huge when I tried it on. However, the polar version has been growing on me lately and I suspect it has to do with the fact that it has a white dial and looks like the polar opposite of the BLNR. I do want to try it on again but AD's have been short on supply lately.Did anyone go from a Sub to the Explorer 2 and not regret it? Would I be giving up too much just to add a different color to my collection? Curious to see what you guys think.
