Roman numeral Question
so Since i got my Chrono-Cockpit i have pretty much been glued to it, and just realized that the (4) is marked as IIII rather than IV, i then did some looking and noticed that Rolex also markes their Roman numeral this way. Does anyone know the deal here or did I get trained wrong as is it supposed to be IIII

Replacing Bezel Insert on SMP
I'm looking at buying a used SMP Quartz with the polished bezel insert. Is it possible to replace this bezel insert with a black one? Anyone have suggestions as to where to purchase one?This is a full size SMP (see attached picture).

Hello watchfam,SHORT STORY: Would love to hear your thoughts on two great timepieces I have adored for quite some time, the Patek 5167 vs. Rolex WG DD40 Olive dial. Both is not an option Before someone gets on my case that I should make my own decision. I would kindly say the fun part of this game is the discussion and understanding the thoughts from other seasoned collectors who have been around the block. ��������������������������-LONG STORY: My hunt for a 5167 started 8 months ago and now I finally have an opportunity to purchase one if I fly to Switzerland. Yet, I am also quite fond of owning a DD which has been on my list of watches to own. Of course I am not comparing apples to apples, but in this game, being illogical is the norm. Although they are at two different price points, I will be going the grey route on the DD to offset some of the price difference.
