A Week On The Wrist: The Hanhart Pioneer TachyTele
Hanhart is a company with an extraordinarily long history, and one which has seen it through a tremendous number of ups and downs. My first encounter with the company was in the pages of a watch magazine back in 1997, when the company debuted a very faithful reproduction of a watch it had first made in 1939 – a pilot's chronograph, with two registers, and a distinctive, asymmetric disposition of the chronograph pushers; the re-set button was a vivid red. The watch had tons of vintage charm; the original used an in-house movement Hanhart had developed for it, called simply the caliber 40, and the collectability of the original models did a lot to make them something of an enthusiast's darling. Though Hanhart was known to watch enthusiasts at that point, primarily for its vintage pilot's watches from the 1930s and 1940s, it also has for many decades – and is right up to the present – primarily a maker of mechanical stopwatches, having pioneered the manufactu
Have you ever gone from ROO to 15400 or Vice Versa? Why?

Omega Speedmaster possibly next purchase ?
I'm seriously considering making an Omega my next watch purchase and have been looking at a couple Speedmaster's I really like...... I am just wondering if anybody has any experience or opinion on these models..omegawatches/gents/sp...-date/32228000.omegawatches/gents/sp...ional/35725000I don't have an Omega AD near by so I would have to buy online or contact an AD for pricing. if anyone can recommend an online site or AD that would be good to deal with please let me know. Can you normally get a discount on an Omega ? All my other watches I managed to get a discount of between 20-30% and just wondering if its the case with Omega.Have a great weekend ! Dave

Pics of Pams with Mausers wanted
Thought I had finally put an end to the strap madness, but… Yesterday I ordered a Mauser from Micah, and 3 Kodiak waterproof straps from tcstraps, I have to say that Elliot from Tcstraps which is on this forum is a great guy to do business with, in all It'll be 9 straps that I got from him, in the straps that I ordered yesterday, all the straps except one come with a sewn in pre V buckle in size 22mm, and 1 in 24mm (a Kodiak, the Mauser comes, at my request, with a 22mm buckle), the 24 is ok for my 233, but they just seem too big for my 28 and 82, the 22mm seem more appropriate, that's mainly the reason why I'm giving away my Pre V by MP with a PVD buckle, see my thread about the Mario Paci being given free of charge, still haven't got someone who needs/wants one so the first person who wants it gets it, the buckle just seems too big for the watch. So waiting impatiently for my 4 straps to arrive, not very soon since the Mauser and 1 of the 3 Kodiaks are custom made and need about
